Primabella – organic cherry tomato with outstanding resistance

The Primabella cherry tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is a vigorous, robust and high-yielding outdoor tomato with bright red, sweet-sour fruits. It is characterised by excellent resistance to late blight and brown rot, making it particularly suitable for organic field cultivation. Its burst-resistant and aromatic fruits make them ideal for salads, snacks and fresh summer dishes.

Cultivation & planting

Sowing: From February/March in advance at approx. 20–24°C.

Pricking out: After the first true leaves have formed, transfer to larger pots.

Planting outdoors: From mid-May, after the Ice Saints, when there is no longer any risk of frost.

Location: Sunny and warm, optimally protected or in a greenhouse.

Soil: Loose, humus-rich and well-drained.

Watering and fertilisation: Water regularly and add organic fertiliser.

Harvest time

🍅 July to October – The first tomatoes are ripe from July onwards, depending on the weather, and can be harvested well into autumn. Regular picking promotes fruit set.
