Frux - Living Soil, organic all-mix, peat-free, 45L
- 100 % peat-free - made from renewable & domestic raw materials
- We recommend a light nitrogen fertilisation with a liquid fertiliser such as Bio Bizz Grow, Bio Nova Grow, or another organic nitrogen-based liquid fertiliser.
- pH-stable due to buffering effect of the raw materials
- Very airy structure and long-term stability thanks to bark humus and wood fibres
- Living Soil - with activated Terra Preta compost to revitalise the soil
- with special organic long-term fertiliser for complete nutrient supply for up to 10 weeks
- with fresh frux natural clay as a perfect nutrient and water reservoir
The very positive experiences and enthusiastic feedback from the grower community about our frux herb & sowing soil have motivated us to develop further grow soils.
This recipe has already proven itself with major customers in production horticulture and ensures healthy plants, high yields and first-class quality in terms of ingredients and flavour. We are convinced that passionate home growers will also appreciate the outstanding quality of our professional soil. The mixture has all the properties that your favourite plant needs for vigorous growth and lush flowering. The soil offers very good drainage and a high air capacity, which is essential for healthy roots. The high proportion of natural clay in both soils serves as an ideal water and nutrient reservoir. This ensures the precise availability of nutrients and water for optimum plant care. The formulation with organic and mineral components stabilises the pH value. Top dressing with commercially available organic and mineral fertilisers is possible at any time.
Frux GROW BIO ALL-MIX -peat-free-
Our BIO ALL-MIX contains mainly domestic and renewable raw materials as a peat substitute. In addition to the high organic initial fertilisation, a long-term organic fertiliser is used here, which ensures that the plant is supplied with all the important nutrients over many weeks. In addition, the revitalisation in the substrate compost contained is enhanced by the biochar (Terra Preta). Biochar promotes the colonisation of active microorganisms that break down the organic matter in the soil and release valuable nutrients evenly throughout the entire growth and flowering phase. The added bark humus ensures both good permeability and the necessary structural stability. This keeps the substrate well aerated and prevents waterlogging. As a water and nutrient reservoir, this GROW soil also contains a high proportion of frux natural clay.
Our raw materials
Raw materials are the basis for professional substrates for growing cannabis plants. The value-adding preparation and processing of raw materials and the right combination of starting materials are the core of our expertise. Thanks to our own wood fibre production and clay pits, frux has access to the entire value chain of these important raw materials. This enables us to positively influence quality at every stage of processing. Raw materials, such as wood and compost, are sourced regionally and prepared in our factory in elaborate processing steps and perfected for use as a substrate raw material. In this way, we keep transport routes short and ensure the quality of our raw materials. The result is a wide range of high-quality substrates.
Natural clay - water and nutrient reservoir
The power bank for your plants. The fresh natural clay from our pit in the Hessian Spessart. The frux clay is a particularly valuable three-layer montmorillonite clay. An ideal water and nutrient reservoir in the soil. Thanks to its large inner surface area, it can store excess fertiliser and release it back to the roots as required. This prevents both selective over-fertilisation and a lack of nutrients in the best possible way. Another advantage is the high plant availability of the stored water in the clay. Your soil therefore has a super long-term water reservoir. This is particularly important for outdoor plants in the sweltering heat of summer.
Wood fibre
Wood chippings from our region are the perfect renewable raw material for substrates and soils with a reduced peat content. We turn the woodchippings into wood fibres under high pressure and friction in our plants. These loosen the structure of the soil and ensure good aeration of the roots and prevent waterlogging in the plant pot.
Bark humus
Bark humus is obtained from the bark of native conifers. This is shredded and left to mature for weeks in our factory with the addition of special nutrients, similar to a compost heap. Only after this refinement step has the quality been reached to mix the bark humus into our soil. Upcycling at its finest. The bark residue from sawmills is ideally upgraded and is used in our soils to stabilise the structure and pH value. The coarse pieces of bark prevent the soil from compacting over time. This prevents waterlogging in the long term and allows the roots to breathe and grow healthily by providing them with sufficient oxygen.
Biochar
Biochar offers many benefits for the plant. With its porous structure, biochar improves soil quality and serves as a natural water reservoir. Biochar can also bind nutrients in the soil and release them slowly, resulting in improved nutrient availability for the plants.
CO2 storage in the plant pot:
The biochar serves as a long-term carbon store in the soil, which helps to
CO2 content in the atmosphere.
More soil revitalisation:
Biochar promotes soil life by serving as a habitat for beneficial microorganisms that support plant growth. In addition, Biochar can bind nutrients in the soil and release them slowly, resulting in improved nutrient availability for plants.
Bio-fertiliser
The organic fertiliser we use has several unique properties. Firstly, it works over a particularly long period of several weeks, which distinguishes it from most readily available organic fertilisers. This ensures that the plant does not have too much nitrogen available at the beginning to avoid harmful over-fertilisation. It also reduces leaching of the valuable nutrient. The fertiliser is produced with comparatively low energy consumption, which also sets it apart from other organic fertilisers. The nutrients are converted by microorganisms in the soil, which break down the fertiliser without leaving any residue.
