First peat-free indoor plant soil

Fungus gnats find an ideal breeding ground to multiply in potting soils with a high compost content. To reduce the risk of infestation, Frux has developed a peat-free potting soil without compost and with mineral instead of organic fertilisers.

Due to its loose structure, the surface dries quickly. This also minimises the risk of a possible infestation of fungus gnats and mould.

To ensure that green and flowering plants are supplied with all the necessary nutrients despite the lack of compost, the ready-to-use houseplant soil from frux is pre-fertilised with minerals. Immediately soluble nutrient salts, which can be quickly absorbed by the plants, cover the initial requirements after planting or repotting. The additional slow-release fertiliser gradually releases its nutrients over a period of weeks. This indoor plant soil thus ensures a basic supply for eight to ten weeks.

Structure-rich wood fibres, crushed expanded clay and lava give the soil a loose structure. On the one hand, this ensures optimum air circulation and thus promotes healthy root growth. On the other hand, the surface also dries quickly. This prevents waterlogging and makes life difficult for pests such as pesky fungus gnats or fungi.

Although the soil dries quickly, it remains moist underneath for a long time. This is ensured by a high proportion of natural clay. It stores and distributes water and nutrients as required throughout the root area.

The peat-free indoor plant soil from frux is available in an 18 litre bag with a carrying handle.

Loose structure

The peat-free indoor plant soil gets its loose structure from wood fibres, crushed expanded clay and lava. On the one hand, this ensures optimum air circulation and thus promotes healthy root growth. You can use our peat-free indoor plant soil for planting and (re)potting green and flowering plants indoors.
